BRIEF DESCRIPTIONThe Residential Project Director at BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC is a key position that is pivotal to the success of maintaining and building strong relationships with managed repair programs. By meeting BluSky standards for providing prompt responses to the insurance carrier and customer needs, the Residential Project Director represents the company as a leader in customer service and contributes to the growth of the company.n This is a highly compensated position with commission potential. Base Salary Range $60,000 - $80,000Commission OTE Range with Bonus $5,000-15,000Vehicle Allowancen PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESKey Result Areas (KRA)Job has been satisfactorily performed when all KRAs successfully executed.n General Job ManagementnnAchieve a 96% customer satisfaction rating.nJobs are completed in a timely fashion and meet target profit margins.nCommunicate with all parties (clients, insurance) throughout the job as required.nDocument all activity in Xactanalysis (Details, Notes, Documents, and Photos tabs) as required by BluSky Best Practices for program work.nDocument all activity as required in company systems.nThorough understanding of construction and restoration to produce jobs quickly and professionally.nManage the acceptable volume of business.nn Customer Service/SalesnnFocus on growing residential managed repair program work by building positive relationships with insurance adjusters and meeting all required response times.nTarget program and large loss adjusters via weekly sales and business development activity.nAttend industry-related functions for marketing purposes.nCoordinate with Business Development Managers on any after-hour or social events.nDocument and track all marketing activity in BluSky s CRM system.nWork assigned leads on residential programs with exceptions directed by the office Vice President.nUnderstanding the needs and management expectations of clients and partners.nAddress all concerns and conflicts without delay per program best practices.nBuild a positive rapport with program adjusters and customers.nSales goal of up to $2 million per year based upon program assignments and other leads.nn Scoping & EstimatingnnBe proficient in the use of required estimating systems.nUnderstand line item definitions for the correct use of related items.nUnderstand and utilize all insurance carrier estimating guidelines.nWrite estimates and changes to estimates in a timely manner.nPrepare and provide in writing client s payment and production schedules and client selection sheets with deadlines.nResponsible for the collection of funds in a timely manner.nn Production ManagementnnReview jobs with the Project Manager going over scopes and budgeting at the beginning of every job.nReview insurance supplements and customer change orders with the Project Manager per BluSky Best Practices.nDo not start any additional work without documented insurance company approval and signed change orders from the customer.nConduct regular job costs monitoring against the budget for any expenses charged to jobs and discuss discrepancies with the Project Manager immediately.nUltimately responsible for all aspects of the job.nContribute to the department's base of professional sub-contractors.nWork with the Project Manager to ensure quality control throughout the course of the project.nEnsure safety compliance and organization on all jobs.nn TeamworknnKeep management, peers, and staff always informed.nShow respect for all colleagues and outside associates.nParticipate in on-call rotation.nBe an active leader in the company and a vocal contributor to company success.nn Personal DevelopmentnnMaintain a high level of industry knowledgenAchieve required training goalsnAttend a minimum of one industry educational event or outside training session per year.nn SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYnThis position does not have any direct reports.n COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESnnThorough understanding of construction and restoration to write accurate estimatesnFamiliar with insurance regulations and qualificationsnDecision-making, problem-solving, and documentation skills requirednStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills requirednStrong MS Office Suite product knowledge requirednAn outgoing, driven, tenacious, team-oriented attitude is a must!nn EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSnnInsurance Restoration Estimating/Xactimate Experience required, or equal commercial construction estimating experiencen3
years of experience in Insurance Restoration Estimating and/or Commercial Construction Estimating preferrednnMust have strong construction knowledgenMust be able to write and establish budgets and job-costingnFlexible schedule: some nights and weekends may be requirednn TRAVELOccasional travel is primarily local to branches in the assigned area during the business day. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
