9K - $53K a year Central Mine Equipment Company is a manufacturer of Drilling Equipment used in the Geotechnical and Environmental fields.
We are looking for a Mechanical Drafter capable of reviewing specifications and other data to develop mechanical layouts.
Successful candidates must have a working knowledge of mechanical parts as well as knowledge utilizing Computer Aided Design software.
A strong working knowledge in Autocad Software a plus.
Responsibilities Making detailed shop production drawings as well as revising current designs and drawings Follow instructions well and communicate with shop personnel and others 2D & 3D Drafting using Autocad Software Selection of purchased components and materials including working directly with vendors Skills Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design software; experience with Autocad Inventor 3D a plus Ability to follow instructions well and communicate with shop personnel and others Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Familiarity with shop production methods (forming, welding, machining) Attention to detail Familiarity with hydraulic and DC electrical circuits and components a plus Should be familiar with Microsoft Office software Education Associates Degree or equivalent related to mechanical design and/or CAD drafting Experience 2 years work experience in related work CENTRAL MINE EQUIPMENT COMPANY IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Job Type:
