Soil Technician
Soil Technician Summary We are looking for a self-motivated, task-oriented individual with an affinity for hands-on work to join our Potting Department team.
As a member of Hummert International's Potting department, you will work hand in hand with our PGLS (Plant Growth & Logistics) team to provide custom potted media to cutting edge Bio-Ag Research companies operating in the greater St.
Louis area and beyond.
Responsibilities Fill daily orders of custom soil blends.
Fill pots and trays in accordance with our standard operating procedure.
Ensure transportation carts are clean and in good repair.
Assist our Devitalization department as needed.
Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely; stand and walk frequently.
Can follow safety and compliance rules.
Attention to detail.
Can maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Prior warehouse experience preferred.
