a is a privately-owned, growing company providing waste and recycling collection services for commercial and residential customers in the Saint Louis metropolitan area.
Aspen Waste Systems of Missouri is currently accepting applications from career-minded individuals to join our administrative team as a Customer Service Supervisor.
This position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to join a dedicated staff that performs important work processes for Aspen's Missouri hauling operation.
Aspen Waste Systems' Customer Service Supervisor will oversee day to day operations of Customer Service Representatives to ensure the team is providing efficient and superior service to Aspen's customers.
This position will serve as a working leader to Customer Service Representatives who handle a large volume of incoming calls from customers, direct drivers, and resolve customer service related issues.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the work activities for Customer Service Representatives to ensure continued focus on efficient and superior service Provide initial and ongoing training for new hires and team members Answer questions from team members on processes and procedures and ensure they are followed accurately Assist with communication and documentation of new department procedures and policies Handle escalated customer calls and troubleshoot customer complaints by providing follow up to assure a satisfactory and timely resolution Perform quality assurance of phone calls and related supporting documentation and provide direction and training as needed Resolve issues from Customer Service Representatives and Dispatchers, and determine when to escalate issues to the General Manager Provide recommendations to management on process improvements and training needs Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma required.
Post-secondary education preferred.
3-5 years of Customer Service experience in a call center environment 3-5 years of Customer Service Supervisory experience Strong customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn unique software applications Ability to independently recognize problems and resolve them successfully Ability to multi-task with conflicting requirements and deadlines Strong problem-solving skills Ability to identify and resolve escalated customer issues efficiently and professionally A knack for learning quickly on the job Successful experience in the service industry with a passion for building customer loyalty is strongly preferred Aspen Offers:
