Accounts Receivable Administration

Job Description:
As a member of Security Equipment Supply, Inc. you will become a vital part of our growing organization. This is a full time position with management potential as the Company continues to grow. This individual will be responsible for communicating with our vast customer base to facilitate any aspect of Customer Service as needed. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to gain Customer knowledge quickly and effectively communicate with the Customers as well as others within the organization. The ideal candidate is one that is willing to learn our business and industry and work well with others in a team environment. We are seeking a great fit with our organization, someone up to different challenges in different areas within the credit department with management abilities and skill sets. Job Requirements:
Analyze and interpret information on customer credit applications including financial information and give feedback on the process in conjunction with the Credit Manager.
Work to improve process and procedures within the department's purview.
Work closely with all members of the department team as well as all departments within the Company
Work closely with Credit Manager to overview department processes for continued growth potential
High visibility to Executive Management/Ownership in this position
Make daily outbound collection calls and send notices at required intervals as well as handle any daily inbound calls.
Communicate with Branch Managers and Sales staff to help facilitate any customer service request by our Customer as needed.
Process and post payments of cash, check and credit cards in conjunction with other department personnel and the treasury department.
Work with Third Party contacts when needed for check approval processing and outside collection agency.
Willingness to learn Company computer systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
Maintain an organized work environment.
Respond to any reasonable request from Management or Ownership.

Education and
Experience:
HS Diploma or Equivalent Required, Prefer College degree with business emphasis
Prefer 5+ years of A/R with Collections experience
Compensation:
Base Pay Commensurate with Experience + Bonus eligibility and Benefits

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
