Senior Marketing Manager

Description Purpose Responsible for the overall marketing efforts related to Licensed and Corporate stores, both new and existing, which includes all local promotional and advertising effort, including but not limited to radio, television, printed circulars, billboards, store-level promotions, direct mail, digital  and tie-ins with local organizations and/or events. Expected outcome of team's work is to drive customer traffic and to achieve higher sales per transaction. Job Responsibilities Delivers projects in a timely and effective manner with minimal supervision and guidance from more senior positions. Manage and execute store-specific marketing plans, including those with significant complexity and/or non-traditional. Manage and execute programs to supportpromotions and marketing campaigns (locally developed or Enterprise led), themes and events to enhance sales and profits. Work with established programs and processes to insure timely and consistent information to all parties involved.   Develop, coordinate and execute plans for response to competitive activity. In addition, work with appropriate associates in summarizing impacts of these programs in a consistent and timely manner.  Communicate and collaborate daily with Retail Operations, advertising agencies and internal departments to ensure successful execution of marketing and promotional programs. Drives results on multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously while adjusting priorities on the fly to meet hard deadlines and sales objectives. Proactively reaches out to key customers to provide expert consultation on sales driving opportunities and new market entrances. Strong analytical, strategic and creative thinking capabilities with the ability to formulate and work with ideas and concepts.   Possesses the ability to both think strategically and act tactically. Analyzes quantitative results of marketing efforts to ensure continuous learning, course correction, and consumer response based on local and ethnic nuances. Monitors existing competitors and anticipates new competitors through active scanning of trade journals, market analysis, and market research. Remain current on market development, materials and consumer trends; develop suggestions for improvements based on market trends. Assists in the training of new SAVE-A-LOT associates, within the Marketing department and other relevant departments. Proactive development and creation of standard operating procedures for team with minimal oversight which are scalable across the nation while allowing for regional flexibility in a cost efficient manner. Assists Management team in the supervision and development of junior staff members. Coaches, teach, and trains junior staff members in the quality and effectiveness of the discussion and planning process with owner groups and field operations teams to develop and execute impactful local marketing plans that achieve intended results. Oversee and develop projects with added complexity and/or staff attention. Assists Management Team in the annual planning, budgeting and management of an array of media (circulars, TV/Radio, product drops, etc.) to meet local market variations. Works closely with retail operations leadership and provides a higher level of expertise to SAL internal functions to strategize plans that drive customer traffic and increase sales. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Advertising required. (5-10) years' experience in Marketing, Advertising and Promotions Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Previous experience in a business to consumer marketing (B2C) environment preferred. Occasional travelrequired, approximately 10%; overnight stays may be required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
