Regional Marketing Manager

Description Purpose Customer facing role responsible for the overall marketing efforts related to Licensed and Corporate stores, both new and existing, which includes all local promotional and advertising effort, including but not limited to radio, television, printed circulars, billboards, store-level promotions, events, direct mail, digital, and tie-ins with local organizations. Build strong relationships and work closely with cross-functional teams within Save-A-Lot and our partners. Job Responsibilities Leads the discussion and planning with field operations teams to develop and execute impactful local marketing plans and/or events that achieve intended results. Ensures successful execution to ensure expected return on investment is achieved. Develops and executes tactical marketing plans for corporate business units that drive customer traffic and increase sales. Plans and manages an array of media (circulars, flyers, product drops, etc.) to meet local market variations. Works closely with retail operations, advertising agencies, external vendors and SAL internal functions to develop plans and/or events that drive customer traffic and increase sales. Analyzes quantitative results of marketing efforts to ensure continuous learning, course correction, and consumer response based on local and ethnic nuances. Analyzes circular and direct mail distribution footprints and optimizes based on customer demographic information and proximity. Proactively reaches out to key customers to provide expert consultation on sales driving opportunities and new market entrances. Responsive to field partners and external partners as needed outside of normal business hours. Exceptional budget management skills to achieve cost savings and operates on or under budget for all marketing plans and/or events. Drives results on multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously while adjusting priorities on the fly to meet hard deadlines and sales objectives. Ability to travel to manage onsite event execution as needed. Minimum Requirements Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related field Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred Minimum of three to five (3 to 5) years experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, or outside sales Advanced communication and presentation skills Strong executive presence and ability to work effectively with all levels up to and including CEOs Negotiating  skills Analytical and detailed planning and execution capabilities Strategic skills and creative thinking with the ability to formulate and work with ideas and concepts. Effective planning and organizational skills - strength in multi-tasking. Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Power Point Previous experience in a retail environment preferred Some travel may be required, depending on assigned area Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties 2582

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
