Director, DevOps

Description     The Director, DevOps will be responsible for providing strategic vision over application operations with a focus on automating the software delivery process. The Director, DevOps leads the design, build, and operational management of highly secure and scalable software and works to guarantee the reduction or removal of bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the software delivery process.   They will implement tools and automated workflow capabilities that enable the software engineering teams to test, promote, and release code in a rapid, scalable manner. The Director, DevOps builds, configures, and maintains the frameworks, tools, and systems that drive optimal performance and leads the design and implementation of real-time systems monitoring.   Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities o Drive sustainable and stable day to day operations across technology functions. o Build best-in-class operations for the overall monitoring, alerting, management and escalation of application services. o Develop strategies to scale operations to future business needs. o Develop, track and report on KPIs related to maintenance, product development, platform performance and platform stability. o Build the continuous delivery pipeline. o Manage and drive processes around release management of application software. o Create a data-driven culture with respect to engineering productivity and outcomes. o Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation; maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, continually assess the impact of new technologies against strategic business needs. o Provide leadership and direction in goal setting, coaching, staffing, and motivating the team. o Ensure adherence to SOX controls, as well as management of related documentation and remediation efforts o Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements     Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline o 10+ years of professional technology experience o 3-5 years hands-on experience in scalable, multi-tenant SaaS application design principles and architecture, as well as utilization of major cloud services providers: AWS IaaS and platform services, Azure IaaS and PaaS. o 5+ years of management experience including building enterprise DevOps teams o 5+ years developing and managing CI/CD solutions o Possesses strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills o Experience supporting container-based orchestration and deployment systems o Proven track of leading and driving projects, teams and initiatives o Proficient with scriptinglanguages like Python, Shell, Bash o Experience implementing and managing centralized logging services o Experience implementing and managing monitoring tools o Hands-on experience with DevOPs tools supporting release automation o Excellent understanding of database technology and administration, and hands on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases 2621

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
